When planning our trip to Shanghai to visit a family member we decided that we wanted a serviced apartment rather than a hotel, this was mainly because we had travelled with 2 young kids and wanted the option of a separate lounge and kitchen.
We did quite a bit of research on various online travel sites and ended up booking the New Harbour Serviced Apartments which are in a fantastic location near Peoples Square and Nanjing Road shopping. The apartments are only minutes from the amazing Shanghai subway system which will get you everywhere in the city fast and safe.
The best thing about these apartments was the separate bedrooms and living areas, we booked the 3 bedroom apartment and we liked the room so much we stayed there again on another visit to China.
