To help your family get around on London’s fantastic network of trains, buses and trams we highly recommend the Oyster card which is similar to Melbourne’s troubled Myki system except it works!!
All children under 10 can travel for free on Buses, Tube or Trams when travelling with someone who has a valid ticket or oyster card.
The oyster card can be bought online at visitorshop.tfl.gov.uk and topped up as required.
