Xi’an historically known as Chang’an is a sub-provincial city and the capital of the Shaanxi province in the People’s Republic of China. Xi’an is amongst the four great ancient capitals of China. It is also one of the oldest cities in history of China. It finds importance in the historical times as many of the dynasties held it as the capital like the Zhou, Han and Qin.
